Human Resources Responsibilities
- Maintains employee records and personnel files for the 290+ county employees as well as their payroll.
- Orients new employees regarding county policies, insurance, and retirement programs
- Administers benefits such as health, dental, and life insurance, retirement plans, direct deposit, and other benefits.
- Provides guidance to county departments on personnel-related issues
- Workmen’s Compensation
The Human Resources falls under the direction of the County Commission.
