Delinquent Taxes

The Buchanan County Prosecutor’s Office, pursuant to Missouri Statutes, represents the Missouri Department of Revenue in the collection of delinquent individual income, sales, and withholding taxes. If your case is referred to our office by the Missouri Department of Revenue for collection, you will receive a notice to contact our office within 10 days to pay your delinquent tax. Under certain circumstances, a payment plan may be entered into. Failure to respond may result in a garnishment and/or seizure of assets.

Once your case has been referred to this office, payments must be made through this office by cash or money order made payable to the Buchanan County Prosecutor’s Office. You may also make a payment by credit/debit card online by clicking HERE Pay Online nCourt.
