The license offices state wide will be unable to process Drivers License, Permit, CDL & Non-Drivers ID transactions November 6th-11th due to an ID/Drivers license system upgrade.

This will affect the Personal Property Department of the Buchanan County Assessor's Office by limiting some of their normal day to day operations.

During the dates of November 6th-11th, the Personal Property Department of the Buchanan County Assessor's Office will not be able to issue Tax Waiver's and will not be able to make changes to the 2024 Assessment lists.  If these are things you will need to have done it will have to be completed prior to November 6th or after November 11th.  

If you are coming in to pay your 2024 taxes, the Collector's Office will not be affected by the temporary closure of the license offices.
